[ You return, a plethora of different foods on a platter in your hands, and you set it down on your desk beside the... thing. ]

[ ... in the meantime, her computer seemed to shut off completely. powered off by a mysterious force. ]

[ it does not like the light, even if it was a dim brightness from a screen. ]

[ The strange creature, now alone in the darkness of her room, is free to do as it pleases until the girl's return. ]

[ its eyes blinked at her, before it suddenly appeared on her second desk, just beside her decorative tree. ]

[ Surely feeding whatever this thing will appease it, you think, and maybe if it's dangerous it won't hurt you. ]

[ If it's not dangerous, then it's a stray, and it probably needs food. ]

[ You shudder as it brushes against your leg. That's... not a texture any living thing has. ]

[ The sight of the feline petrifies you for a moment. How could a cat be on the windowsill? Especially on the second story of your house... ]

[ You figure, it can't be harmful. It probably wants food. No reason to not let it in. ]
