@TylerLaRiviere@Cinemark Why does the screen look so small in ur pic? I went yesterday & sat all the way in the back (row K). This is the pic I took. No zoom. The only negative is that because the seats are so old they're kind of uncomfortable.
@chiimaxcampaign Sadly, I think it was more than three. Aside from the one in Woodridge, we had one in Batavia, Lincolnshire, Navy Pier, Addison. Those are the ones I remember.
Just got out of THE ODYSSEY. While I do have some minor quibbles (it does drag a bit), it's just a phenomenal film. Nolan's best film since THE DARK KNIGHT.
@BrndnStrssng I'm just happy to finally have a great copy of THE BLADE. I remember watching that on a Mei Ah DVD where the picture quality was that of a VCD.
@CarterNixon What the hell is going on with the trades, man? I recently saw a Variety article about how some lady delayed being impregnated because she wanted to see the Odyssey in 70MM IMAX.
@Urbion6 In 10 years, maybe. But it'll have the same problems as a 70MM IMAX camera: overheating so fans would be needed & only able to shoot short lengths at a time. A frame in 16K resolution is a lot of data & memory nowadays is very expensive.
@TheRochaSays This is where I'm confused tho. When Netflix was having a bidding war with Ellison, Netflix only wanted the film & TV entertainment division. If Ellison is only doing this bec of CNN, why didn't he just let Netflix do that deal? Netflix didn't want CNN.
I worked pretty closely with Gary Busey over the course of directing โiโm with Buseyโ https://t.co/GZLjmFY9mA It was not pleasant. I had no knowledge of him assaulting anyone but he had little regard for people not named Gary Busey.
