@MsFeliciaRondo there's a one-time purchase of 2.0 yeah, but if you want future versions then you need the pass, is my understanding. i think most people will be fine with 1.x/2.0, but i've seen folks talk about boycotting and switching programs altogether

coming briefly out of my cave to say if people jump ship from csp that paint tool sai is NOT freeware and you SHOULD give the one guy who makes it the $60 they charge for it. even if you do pirate it just give them the money

also sai might work out to $50 usd? i don't remember what it is in yen but i know when i've paid for it (twice. bc im the idiot who physically loses their digital license somewhere in their files when switching computers) it's been about $60 cad

personally i'm partial to maverique because i like how it sounds and it's easy to use casually (also the flag rules). aporagender is a little too... clinical. and is six(!!!) syllables
