Cooking Without Looking
Skill-building sessions for the visually impaired often push boundaries of what many consider “ordinary.”
One such session, identifying pulses by touch, smell, and intuition was a true test of patience and perseverance.
🌍The environment is not only something we see.
It is something we hear, feel, breathe & move through every single day.
For persons with visual impairment, a sustainable environment means more than green spaces.
Sustainability without inclusion is incomplete!

At our summer camp for visually impaired youth, fitness isn’t about mirrors or perfect form.
It’s about learning to trust your body, feeling each movement and showing up even on days when it’s hard.
They’re not just working out.
They’re working within.
Support inclusive spaces.
What if you cooked with your eyes closed tight,
No screens, no labels, no guiding light?
Just hands that learn, that feel, that know,
Where buttons rest, where currents flow.
Challenge: Cook one meal with eyes closed today,
And see your kitchen in a brand-new way.
