@catturd2 Hell, I get excited to see a REGULAR stupid private propeller plane fly close overhead. I think it's so damn cool. THIS would blow my ever loving mind! โค๏ธ๐ฉถ๐
@PortPolitics1@TeamTrump47 If you start school far later, it makes it nearly impossible for kids to participate in extra curriculars after school. Sports need hours for games (travel time and play time), then there's family time (we hope) and homework, and (hopefully) free time. No way to later start times
@MoniFunGirl I'm struggling, Moni. I won't lie. As a peri-menopausal woman, the weight drop is a struggle like I've never experienced. The insomnia, the fatigue, the food adversions. Hoping to turn it all around starting with my PCP annual today!
@GeraldoRivera Or when stupid people don't stop for ICE or law enforcement. STOP and then fight in court. Don't use your car as a potential weapon. It's no different than someone pointing a gun at you.
@SomethingUNATCO I wake up without sunshine most days. What a weird take. Later sunshine is actually better for production in our world of manufacturing. By 4pm, when it's getting dark, folks feel like they should be done.
@PKanning What time do your kids go to school there? Most of our kids are already on a bus by 8am. ALL of our schools in our area are in session before 9am.
@Arkypatriot Kids are already waiting for the bus in the dark. Some come HOME in the dark, too. More light in the afternoon/evening gives kids more time to play outside, engage in outdoor sports, and most folks have the opportunity to enjoy some light.
@madisonkelleyp Makes no difference to me. I'm at work 5 days a week - go in the dark every day. My kids wait for the bus/drive to school in the dark regardless. Absoltuely no difference if it's 8am or 9am.
@MaineLogic@theoliverxp I had a procedure done in 2004. Out of pocket was x (only if I had no insurance) but w/insurance, it was y. Since I had a $$$ deductible, which was HIGHER than the out of pocket price, I paid more for the procedure than if I didn't have ins. No OOP price option if I DID have ins!
@KenCook_KC@theatomicmom@HouseGOP@SenateGOP I'm like a toddler, I admit. I don't adjust to the time changes very well. I like the coziness of dark evenings in the winter, but I know my kids enjoy the longer daylight hours to play outside. I'm all for that.
@theatomicmom@HouseGOP@SenateGOP Who cares when the sun is rising while they are in school and we are at work? My kids are going to school in the dark part of the year now... doesn't change a thing for them. Leave the clocks at DST!
