I talk about the web ecosystem and share stories of CS education on here.
The ideas is once a review is made the student score is immediately updated, but can be changed as votes are made on them or other reviews are created.
What formula would you use? Is it simply Score = Total upvotes - Total Downvotes?
An exercise I give students, please share your thoughts. A review app that lets staf rate students/5. Other staff can up/downvote reviews as a way of agreeing or disagreeing with the review. How do you aggregate ratings and votes into an overall student score?
Gotta say it's truly an awesome experience going from watching some of these talks at Google IO 2021 to suddenly seeing them live at #GoogleIOConnect. Much thanks to @googledevgroups!
In 2016 I attended a local workshop on @Firebase. The speakers who flew in encouraged me to join the @googledevgroups platform. I helped launch @gdgpos and after 7 years I was thrilled to once again see @solsona and @tonioguzmanf again at #GoogleIOConnect!
@NoMansSky Seeing this game run on our beloved Nintendo tablet just shows a level of devotion thought to be long gone in this era of AAA money grabs. But I really, really hope that motion controls are in the plans for this port 🥺.
@AshDub24 @cbendre@SergioRocks I'd argue with googling you'd need effort to arrive at that precise solution for problems that are obscure alterations of the classical algos. In my experience the chat will make those tweaks and handle those edge cases by refining. Just say "Yeah but you missed this" etc
@ashwinkumar_v@SergioRocks This is it, and having the sufficient background knowledge will enable you to perform the prompt engineering to get the job done. You will know when the AI falls short and be able to make the necessary tweaks.
@cbendre@SergioRocks It's going to be very hard (at least virtually) to know whether work produced was by solely someone's own effort. The question is; if it gets the job done, how much should we still care?
@cbendre@SergioRocks True but chat GPT will explain and teach you the answer. Hell you can just send it the follow up questions. Turn on voice typing and pretend to repeat the question to the interviewer.
