🆕 How to Kill The Code Review
https://t.co/fzUMQxwVOS
the volume and size of PRs is skyrocketing. @simonw called out StrongDM’s “Dark Factory” last month: no human code, but *also* no human review (!?)
in this week’s guest post, @ankitxg makes a 5 step layered playbook for how this can come true.
@NickMat12684085@rose_csv Pô cara não é que vc é um gênio, o que vc pode fazer para mudar o cenário atual? Como vc pode ajudar a convencer as pessoas que seu ponto de vista é o certo?

Delegating efficiently as a manager involves understanding how to leverage your time and energy to create a much greater output than you could achieve. Yet, some things keep us from delegating, such as:
🔹 Belief we can do it better
🔹 Difficulty in letting go of control over a task or project.
🔹 Belief that it will take more time to explain the task than to do it ourselves.
🔹 Concern that delegating might be perceived as neglecting responsibilities.
Yet, if we don't delegate, we can be 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗱 with work, but it also impacts the morale of team members by limiting their opportunities to acquire new skills and responsibilities. Furthermore, the organization may encounter operational risks by creating single points of failure.
To be a great manager, you can use a 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹. It is a tool that helps managers understand how to delegate tasks effectively by visualizing gradually transferring responsibility to team members.
It means that you should only do what you can do. In other words, think about 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲, i.e., what your direct reports need more knowledge or experience. For all other things, you trust and explain what success looks like.
Of course, establish 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸-𝗶𝗻𝘀 and controls to get quick updates about the tasks.

@pronjaboy @nicoslab@devscansados 1xx - Informational responses
2xx - Success (e.g., 200 OK)
3xx - Redirection (e.g., 301 Moved Permanently)
4xx - Client errors (e.g., 404 Not Found)
5xx - Server errors (e.g., 500 Internal Server Error)
