Dryland cropping farmer also now dabbling in the not so dryland area. With very understanding wife and father to 4 of the funnest and coolest kids i know.
@ipaddockapps So if burning gains your 20-40kg n then how would that compare to cutting the straw now (stripper) as mushroom dudes want it.(also getting paid a little for it) Is it the act of burning or just the lower residue to breakdown that is saving the N?
@WheatWatcher@keepthesheepWA No way Susan Ley will become a pm due to her anti farmer sentiments in a rural seat. Will either get kicked out before election or the rural locals wonโt vote for her at election. Only got in by everyone trying to keep labor out of her seat.
@brodenholland definitely something in these additives. When I lived in the uk years ago the cheap English bread there made me bloated but the French bread was no dramas. Now our aust bread does the same. So hard to find non fortified bread or flour. Intermittent fasting has helped enormously
@CKMonty Iโm hearing you. 50km hr down the road and u move to the edge to not hit a truck and then one of those slips into your steer tyre. They go bang fast. Bloody scary.
@brill_ag@theGRDC We did this last year Rohan after seeing your info. Was a game changer at sowing time with ease of planting with zero blocks in the seeder tubes from trying to push beans and fert thru hoses. Previously had to slow way down and monitor for hose blockage. ๐๐
@farmboyG Agree but what is this meaning. 3 days ago where started header they collected only the broken canola seeds and lined their holes! Was heaps of them.
@CKMonty Same thing happened to me last year. Was on edge of the road when I met a truck and clipped the post on the edge and it cut straight thru the tyre sidewall. Huge bang and nearly dragged me off the road. Sharp buggers.
It must be wet when leaches are crawling all over the gravel around the sheds. Heaps of them. ๐คฆโโ๏ธ no wonder a man canโt get a tractor on paddocks.
@ipaddockapps Yea mic. Besides bad wires they just wear out. Have changed a couple over the years and know few others that have. Now have spare just in case as will chase tail tying to battle Thru.
@Fox_Farming Yea I did mate. Actually welded a piece of angle iron across the bottom where your chain is. Only used 1 bolt hole of the motor thru the angle iron. Been there about 9 years now. ๐ช
Righto #agtwitter, here's a hack to retake twitter for its higher purpose: talking about farming!
Just RETWEET every reply you make & they will all magically reappear in all our Following feeds, just like before.
Retweet this (&then do it!) to Make Agtwitter Amazing Again! #MAAA
