Thanks to Declan Buggy of #TheIrishSchoolofDIY for coming to school today, to deliver engaging workshops to senior classes. The boys and girls worked on their home-improvement skills, in a hands-on, collaborative way.

The Sports Wear Sale, organized by Mrs.C.Kenny, last Friday, was a great success!! Thank to all who supported the Sale, donated jerseys, bought raffle tickets, came along to buy. David Blanchfield raffled a #Kilkenny jersey (signed!) Over €400 was raised, to buy maths equipment
A fantastic assembly, last Friday! Infants and First Class showed their many talents, from Gaeilge and storytelling, to poetry and art. Well done to all 🙂
Mass was celebrated last Friday, to mark the installation of a special bell in the church. The bell was rung daily in the Boys' School, and to see it restored after so many years of use, was special. Former Boys' School staff rang the newly -restored bell, as did pupils.
Great excitement at the hatching of 14 eggs (and counting!), in school this week. We're learning about the different types of chick, what they eat and we watch them grow 🐣
It is with deep sadness that we learn of the passing of our former Principal, Mr. Michael Hester.

All classes had a visit from the dental nurse in Carlow Dental Centre, today. Pupils learned of the importance of brushing their teeth, how to best brush their teeth, and what a visit to the dentist is like.
