Liberty vs James Madison Analysis

Liberty’s OL as one of CUSA’s best with 4 starters back plus transfer help.

JMU is replacing significant production on its defensive front.

Liberty also enters 2026 with three Doak Walker watch list RBs.

Liberty’s running game should have something to work with.

Liberty has the experienced OL plus a deep RB room.

That’s important as a 6 point underdog. I’m not asking Liberty to dominate JMU. I need them to sustain drives, shorten the game and stay within one score.

JMU: 5 returning starters, 61 newcomers, new HC.

Liberty: experienced QB room, veteran OL and Jamey Chadwell entering Year 4.
