@jyzzok@IGN If you would gladly give them money for product A why did product A completely die out in activity despite active development and new expansions?
@SuperMadRealms@meteotek@LucyTheLamia Well, I hate it as a huge fan of the series lol. I'm glad they're remaking it as I think it benefits bad games way more than good ones. Like why are we remaking ocarina of time.
@SuperMadRealms@meteotek@LucyTheLamia Anyone that's played it in the last few years and isn't just completely blinded by nostalgia will tell you it sucks. It's a terrible experience.
@THExREALxDP@aiiygatorz I mean every multiplayer game has ban waves, that's just normal. Both games are beautiful and I can't really agree with saying Marathon is unfinished, it's exceptionally well designed and polished.
@RageandBait@aiiygatorz That isn't what happened, Destiny died because people stopped playing it. Resources were only taken away after the playerbase plummeted after Final Shape. I wish people stopped pushing this narrative.
@THExREALxDP@aiiygatorz I've got like 200 hours and I've never seen a cheater. They surely exist but probably in high ranked, where you wouldn't be seeing them. I'm also constantly in awe at how good the game looks and plays.
@Lasombra077@aiiygatorz Resources were only taken away after people stopped playing D2 after Edge of Fate. It's not the other way around. Also sincerely asking, what's not good about Marathon?
@Plappal1@NebsGoodTakes That's the point, he lashes out because he can't bear to admit it was his own fault. That fits with his character, unable to let go or face reality.
@drydon3@GhostofMahvel@NebsGoodTakes He's an example of losing yourself to your grief. He is so deeply incapable of accepting his own primary role in Brok's permanent end that he copes by placing blame elsewhere. It's a tragedy, yeah, but that makes sense given his character. People aren't perfect.
@KnightsMagicEn@justaddwatter That was me. I had fun, then I got curious about the lore, watched videos on it, then was invested in it going forward. The secret is that, that's the experience even if you had played from the beginning.
@GrethNorthDerg@eternalcrim If I'm realistic, it's more important to support Marathon *now* so that Bungie has the trust to get a Destiny 3 funded. Sony doesn't care about people logging on for one day, they care about continued earnings from said studio.
@BanjoTooieOff@GenePark@CantEverDie I'm personally just over remakes. I could see myself get excited for one if it was of a game where I could see definite improvement on missed potential, but OoT is the last game that would apply to.
@ThinkdontSee@luscielia I mean did you play the games? In 3, he chose to sacrifice himself to give hope back to the world after he saw what he did. He was a loving and regretful father back then, too. In the new ones, it took incredible efforts for him to control his anger and not repeat his mistakes.
