A 16 year old #Dalit student was seen talking to his classmate who was from the dominant caste near Pudukkottai #Tamilnadu. He was attacked in public by more than ten dominant caste villagers for talking to her .They also humiliated him with caste slurs . At night he committed suicide .This is not the first time this is happening. We have many case studies of similar nature .The trauma of being a Dalit child is unbearable.Leave rebellions ,we cannot even live a normal life like others .That's the caste reality of the state. Our mere existence is a problem for the dominant castes.

Today I am lost in my own thoughts. My heart is heavy today. I read another tweet today that said “Ukraine is bleeding…we still need so much help.”

This is a reality check that we need to remember. Many of my fighter and medic friends have lost people this week. We need to move faster, work harder to save more lives.

Yes, we can be positive but we need to be realistic in the fact that Ukraine’s fighters and volunteers need as much help as possible.
