'NAKATANGGAP DAW AKO NG MALETA' CHALLENGE
Dinaan na lamang sa isang witty at comedic na TikTok acting challenge ni Sen. Kiko Pangilinan ang mga kumakalat na paratang laban sa kaniya hinggil sa umano'y pagtanggap ng male-maletang pera mula sa kontrobersyal na flood control scam.
BREAKING: The Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has ordered the issuance of Letters of Authority (LOA) to audit Vice President Sara Z. Duterte, her spouse, and nine businesses related to the couple.
This document will allow revenue officers “to examine the taxpayer’s books of accounts and other accounting records.”
The BIR stated that this action follows its “careful determination that probable cause exists to warrant a formal audit investigation of the subject taxpayers.” | via @arainosante
The DDS are busy mocking Leni Robredo because she looked tired and sleepy while sweeping the streets of Naga City.
These critics miss the real story.
Leni was out there, broomstick in hand, helping clear debris side by side with her team and the residents.
She called on the people of Naga to join her, leading not just by words, but by example.
Instead of sitting pretty, she spent the whole day working alongside everyone, showing what true public service looks like.
What touched me the most is that Mayor Leni felt she had to apologize for her appearance—tired and probably sleepy—after a full day of hands-on cleanup.
Imagine a leader saying sorry for working hard, and then being laughed at for it.
That speaks volumes about the low expectations and shallow mentality of her critics.
Mayor Leni, please don’t feel the need to apologize for how you look after a hard day’s work.
You are serving Naga honestly by leading, managing, and doing.
Working hard is something to be proud of, not hidden or downplayed.
Meanwhile, Sara Duterte’s approach is miles apart.
She handles disaster response from afar—ordering her team, giving speeches, and showing up for press conferences when the cameras are ready.
There’s no clear record of her joining street-level cleanups or taking part in manual relief work.
Her leadership is often just a performance for photo ops and applause, not genuine involvement.
True leadership is about showing up, working side by side with ordinary people, and setting an example that inspires others.
Leni Robredo lives this out every day. Sara Duterte doesn’t.
And this is why the DDS are a huge obstruction—a real problem for our country’s progress.
They attack those who work directly for the people, and cheer for politicians who are more concerned with their image than actually doing the work.
Their constant noise drowns out honest voices and encourages leaders to fake it for approval rather than push for real change.
If the DDS didn’t keep propping up mediocrity while undermining true leadership, maybe this country could finally move forward.
And if the flooding isn't horrific enough in the Philippines, there are snakes swimming through the floodwaters.
Absolute nightmare fuel. 🌊🐍 😳

House Speaker Martin Romualdez says the “exclusive power to initiate all cases of impeachment” granted by the Constitution to the House “is not shared, not subject to pre-approval, and not conditional." (🎥: Office of the House Speaker) | @VivienneGulla
The command is clear: proceed with trial FORTHWITH, not delay the proceedings under the guise of a “remand” that does not even have a constitutional basis.
The Constitution DID NOT give an option to the Senate to delay the trial even further. Walang hiyang dribble ito!
