Spoken comfortably, from outside the sphere. I grew up inside one. Allow me to translate.

A ‘sphere of influence’ has one defining feature: nobody inside it was ever asked. The phrase treats nations as furniture — items arranged by the owners of the house.

History ran the referendum on this concept exactly once. In 1989, the door of Moscow’s sphere cracked open, and every single resident — Poles, Czechs, Balts, Hungarians, Germans — ran west. Unanimously. Nations that had spent forty years inside Russia’s ‘influence’ could not leave fast enough.

That vote stands: 100 to 0. No recount requested.

Ukraine and Georgia are simply the residents the empire caught at the door.

So use honest language. Influence is when neighbors choose you. What Russia has is a cage with cultural programming.

An empire’s sphere of influence is just the room where the screaming is called consent.

That's more than 2 billion Ukrainian hryvnias.

Just take a moment to think about that incredible amount.

Beyond that, Mrs. Kwaśniewska has donated medical equipment, ambulances, and other life-saving supplies to Ukrainian hospitals—worth many millions of dollars more.

She is simply an incredible person.

A person with a truly enormous heart. ❤️

A heart that understands our pain and our struggle. A heart filled with genuine love for Ukraine.

She is also someone from whom certain politicians in her own country could learn a great deal.

I probably don't have enough words to express my gratitude to Mrs. Kwaśniewska.

But I will try.
