Storm update 8:00 am 11/20/24: Wenberg County Park and Flowing Lake Park are closed due to fallen trees. Other parks may still be without power and impacted by the storm. Our crews are assessing parks/trails and working to remove fallen trees and branches over the next few days.

Our summer upgrades continue! The Machias Trailhead parking lot (1626 Virginia St Snohomish, WA 98290) on the Centennial Trail will be closed Friday 7/19/24 for maintenance and new gravel. The closest alternate trailhead is Pilchuck (5801 S Machias Road Snohomish, WA 98290).
β οΈ The Pilchuck Trailhead along the Centennial Trail (5801 S. Machias Rd, Snohomish) will be closed all day Thursday, 7/18/24 for parking lot maintenance and grading. The closest alternate trailhead is Machias (1624 Virginia St, Snohomish).

The Kayak Point boat launch will be closed 7/3/24 from 9-11 am for an eel grass survey required by WDFW and DNR as part of the construction project. Scuba divers will be on site 7/2 from 1:30-5:30 pm and 7/3 from 8-1 pm, but the boat launch will only be closed 9-11 am on 7/3.

@snocoliving We checked with our lakes team who are not aware of any cables, but there are sometimes private cables for water withdrawals (if they have legal rights) or permitted heat pumps. On neighboring Lake Shoecraft, there is a private submerged pop-up water skiing course installed.
