some of y’all that want to call people out for bullying are just as bad if not worse than the people you are vilifying.

some of y’all really want to act like you’ve never made a mistake or never participated in shitty behaviour in your life. let me put this so simply - nobody on this earth has a perfect track record. nobody. i certainly don’t, and neither do you.

you don’t have to be friends with anybody you don’t wanna be friends with, but death threats, threatening harm, aggressively exiling people from a community you didn’t build, forcing people to choose sides - when did everybody become holier than thou???? who decided you were the judge, jury and executioner?

im not impressed by much of the behaviour ive seen from the poketwt community of late from either side, but i have this incredible thing called free will and an independent brain to decide who i want to block/not correspond with and to know who my true friends are.

its literally that fucking simple.

cancel culture for the medial shit that didn’t even involve y’all is truly some of the grossest, parasocial shit ive seen in a long time.

i want to state: im not saying we cant call out bad behaviour. accountability IS important. but dont excuse your own bullying under the guise that youre just calling out bad behaviour when the tone and words are aggressive and you force people into your way of thinking, and exile those who dont agree.

educate people with the intent that you want to be heard, not with the intention to be right!
