Still can’t believe that people don’t understand that EVERY pool should look like this. It’s actually sad that not a single other mining pool can do this because none of them have real miners.
Despite the obvious nothing burger of BIP110, being happy that all the other pools are centrally creating blocks and thus can never be contradictory is actually an L.
🤔 Scaremongering at its worst on Jeremy Vine’s show.
Paula Rhone-Adrien warns that climate change will make Britain unlivable and force us to migrate: “People who live in this country will be migrating. We are going to become the boat people. Prepare yourself!”
Jeremy Vine piles on, claiming southern Europe has been destroyed and asking “who wants to go on holiday to the south of France now?”
The actual numbers say otherwise. Côte d’Azur and Provence posted strong visitor figures and high occupancy in 2025, with 2026 summer bookings and hotel rates holding at the same solid levels as last year.
France welcomed over 102 million international tourists in 2025, right in line with its usual top ranking. Spain is tracking toward around 100 million this year, matching recent highs, while Italy and Greece show the same peak-season demand as expected.
Southern Europe is operating exactly as normal. A few hot days and suddenly the UK is finished and the Med is a wasteland! This is full-on climate crisis alarmism – the kind of hysteria that makes normal people switch off completely. No wonder fewer and fewer take any of it seriously.
Extremely important correction.
@jackmallers there wasn’t a weak entropy fallback. I think it’s important to be precise about what actually happened.
The weak PRNG (Yasmarang) wasn’t Coinkite’s fallback—it was MicroPython’s built-in general-purpose RNG, introduced upstream in May 2018. It didn’t become part of Coldcard’s seed generation until the libNgU migration in March 2021.
Most language runtimes include a non-cryptographic RNG like this for general purposes such as shuffling, timing jitter, or other non-security-related randomness. By itself, that’s not unusual.
Coinkite’s design intent was actually the opposite of having a software fallback: seed generation was supposed to rely exclusively on the hardware TRNG and never use the software RNG. Setting MICROPY_HW_ENABLE_RNG=0 was intended to disable that software path.
The issue is that this setting didn’t have the intended effect, and the symbol instead resolved to the runtime’s default implementation. So what people are describing as a “fallback” wasn’t an intentional design decision or a shortcut in the seed-generation logic—it was inherited behavior from the underlying platform that became active because of a link-time error.
@Gemma570343@callebtc To coordinate, I was thinking use Nostr to pull in specific tagged events with bug bounty details and help triage reports etc if required.
The UK is planning to put 5 tonnes of folic acid into flour each year.
If that amount was fed to 20 million mice it would kill 10 million of them.
(And rodents metabolise it 50 times more efficiently than humans).
It is a synthetic drug.
NO TO MASS MEDICATION.
Somewhere a marketing department convinced half the internet that a ninety-pound tub of dried pond scum is the missing key to human health. AG1 might be the slickest con in the entire wellness racket.
Meet the visionary behind it. Before Chris Ashenden built AG1 into a billion-dollar empire, a New Zealand court convicted him of more than forty breaches of the Fair Trading Act over a rent-to-buy property scheme the judge branded the calculated exploitation of people struggling financially.
He took working families' money for homes, skipped the small matter of handing over the title, wound up his companies, stiffed the victims on much of what he owed, and sailed off to America to sell everyone smoothies.
He quietly resigned as chief executive in 2024, the very moment a podcast began shining a torch on all this. Nothing says trust me with your health like a man convicted of fleecing the desperate.
The powder itself is a masterpiece of doing almost nothing. Seventy-odd ingredients in a proprietary blend, the trade's favourite magic trick, which lets you parade a glorious label while hiding how microscopically little of each is in the scoop.
Reviewers who look closely describe a base of cheap spirulina with everything else sprinkled on like fairy dust, at doses too small to trouble your biology. The company has dodged publishing full lab reports, and once settled a lead scare by slapping a warning on the tub in California and pretending the rest of the planet did not exist.
Now the punchline, which is the money. A month runs around ninety pounds, sold direct and never in a shop, which conveniently frees up nearly the whole price to bribe whoever reads the advert.
Affiliates reportedly pocket twenty to fifty per cent of every sale, forever. AG1 hoses north of two million dollars a month at podcasts, which is exactly why Rogan, Ferriss, Bartlett, Williamson and Saint Andrew Huberman keep gargling its praises.
Huberman is reported to own a stake in the thing, and reads at his level fetch up to two hundred thousand dollars a pop. The nice neuroscientist selling you your greens owns a slice of the greens. Funny, that.
Here is the swindle beneath the swindle, so hold your nerve. AG1 sells you the terror that your dinner is failing you, that you are one scoop from collapse. Utter nonsense.
A single egg yolk, a nub of liver or a tin of sardines carries more usable nutrition than a lifetime of spray-dried lawn clippings, in a form your body can actually use. Vegetables were oversold before anyone freeze-dried them, and grinding them to powder to flog them back at ninety quid a month is that same old lie in its Sunday best.
You were never deficient. A convicted conman and the millionaires he pays to nod along simply talked you into believing it.
Eat the egg. Bin the powder.
If you think home prices crashing is bad, you have fiat brain. Homes are consumer goods and the cheaper they are the better. You only think of them as an investment asset because your money is broken & you have never known savings.
@RSX_PS3_87 1. grab the firmware from here - https://t.co/Kbn1pxMpD6
2. write the image file to a USB stick using something like raspberry pi imager
3. plug it into the nano 3s usb port and reboot it to start the upgrade
@snotra_uk@skot9000@JoeNakamoto@BTCsessions@SimplyBitcoin Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention!
