It's St. Patricks Weekend! I've made my annual Chocolate-Guinness Layer Cake, filled with malt buttercream. I used to teach this recipe on my Irish cookery classes. A knockout. It's easily adapted to a 4-layer, 2-layer or cupcakes. Some people have told me it's the best cake they've ever eaten. Enough flapping, let's make it!
