@SamRichardson Everytime I see the new BK Melts commercial I think of Sam in Detroiters. It sounds so much like something you would satire. Loved the show.
Check out the latest from the @smaldonelab and @CisnerosRes on #COFs, published in @ChemicalScience. In this collaborative project we show that COFamides are excellent adsorbates for aqueous iodine, making them promising materials for water purification! https://t.co/mipwOJCAkh
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to read only one book at a time. It’s taken me the month of January, but I just finished a book and so am down to just one. Now I just have to finish it before I start another one. 😁
My hobby for keeping chickens has provided tonight’s science rabbit hole- brachydactyly in chickens. This is apparently a common defect in feather footed chickens (this chicken is fine otherwise) that causes a short outer toe due to missing phalanges.
I started a bromination with a couple undergrads who hadn’t seen elemental bromine before. They were both so taken by the color in solution that they got their phones out to take a picture. So I did too. It really is a pretty red. 😁
After four days of temps in the teens and twenties, the sun has come out here in DFW and I am happy to report that all of the hives in our @UT_Dallas apiary seem to have survived! 🐝

Sonnet 154. The final one. Here's to everyone who has been so kindly watching and listening to these sonnets. We never expected anything like this and we appreciate it enormously. Thank you! #ASonnetADay
Thanks to the hard work of students, collaborators, and support from @ArmyResearchLab, our most recent work on COFs is #JustAccepted in @J_A_C_S. (Preprinted in @chemrxiv). As with all of our research, it was an international effort🇱🇰🇨🇳🇦🇹🇲🇽🇺🇸 https://t.co/DVR5vPdlYP
