I don't think people realize how incredibly easy GPU use in Julia is. If you've ever done any kind of raw GPU stuff you know that there's lots of garbage with your CUDA install and other annoying little issues. This is literally all you have to do @JuliaLanguage#gpu
@thejollygrimrea@ID_AA_Carmack I actually asked John at Quakecon if he had considered switching to another lang like Julia because the slowness of Python. He stated he hasn't because: 1) The ability to spin up more cores if he needed faster processing; 2) The ecosystem of Python is better
@KedgeOnline The in-game advertising has gotten out of hand! The Stars, at least last broadcast I watched, got rid of the superimposed ad on the glass behind the net, which is a positive step in the right direction. But can't think of another league that sells ad space on the field of play
