How to farm funding rates on @VelodromeFi

No depeg risk, no manual rebalancing, and you don't even need to hold perps.

All you have to do is LP. Here's how👇

Buy wstETH
On Optimism, buy $wstETH with 50% of the money you want to use for this cash/carry trade (I recommend using @odosprotocol for this)

Mint ETH1S
ETH1S is an $ETH 1x short token. To mint, go to @TLX_FI, select the mint page, and use the remaining 50% of your funds to mint ETH1S

Provide liquidity
Now that you have both wstETH and ETH1S go to Velodrome and provide liquidity in the wstETH/ETH1S pool. Note that after providing liquidity it might be worth staking your LP tokens in case extra incentives are added to the pool.

Earning funding
ETH1S represents a @synthetix perps 1x ETH short. Funding is captured automatically and rebalanced back into the position. You can view the current funding rate that you'll earn on https://t.co/Fa0j9LgsoW

Rebalancing
Once you LP, no rebalancing is required. Rather, it all gets handled by the pool. All you need to do is hold your LP tokens.

You now have your own personal USDe/Ethena. But unlike USDe we got rid of the depeg risk, use simple LP tokens instead, and are fully reliant on permissionless DeFi protocols (no custody/CEX risk).
