🧵New Orleans just proved failing schools can be fixed at scale.
It became America’s first all-charter school district.
The results are staggering:
• 99th percentile nationally in reading growth
• 98th percentile in math growth
• The only state in America beating pre-pandemic levels in both subjects
This is what real reform looks like. THREAD 🧵
Palantir CTO @ssankar on AI layoffs:
“We’re listening too much to the inventors of AI.”
“I know that’s appealing. They’re geniuses.”
“We need to be listening to the frontline factory workers using AI saying, ‘Wow, I was able to add a third shift. I was able to hire more workers.’”
“Or the ICU nurse who says, ‘I was able to spend more time with my patients and ensure they don’t code during a shift change now.’”

AOC says "No one ever makes a billion dollars. You TAKE a billion dollars."
That's nonsense. Under capitalism you can only get rich by offering people something they want.
Here’s how capitalism makes most everyone richer:
Elon Musk just defended America better than every politician in Washington combined.
Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?”
One nation on earth held a weapon nobody else had.
Total dominance. Zero competition. No risk of retaliation.
Every empire in history that held that kind of advantage used it.
Rome. The Mongols. The British. The Ottomans.
They conquered until they collapsed.
America had a bigger advantage than all of them combined.
And it rebuilt the countries it just defeated.
Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.”
Almost unprecedented?
It had never happened before. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded history.
The Marshall Plan wasn’t foreign aid.
It was the most radical act of restraint any superpower ever committed.
America turned its enemies into allies. Turned rubble into economies. Turned surrender into partnership.
Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a generation.
Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth.
Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin.
A city in the heart of the nation that just tried to destroy it.
That’s not policy.
That’s a civilization deciding what it is at the exact moment it has the power to be anything.
You’re being told a story right now.
That America is the villain of history.
You hear it everywhere. Media. Universities. Social platforms.
Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.”
Every nation on earth has dark chapters. Every single one.
The difference is what a country does when nobody can stop it.
And when nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities.
Musk: “The history of China suggests that China is not acquisitive. Meaning they’re not going to go out and invade a whole bunch of countries.”
Probably right.
China has historically built walls, not fleets.
But the real question isn’t about borders anymore.
We’re approaching a moment that mirrors 1945 in ways nobody has fully processed yet.
AI is going to give a handful of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look quaint.
If someone is going to hold that kind of power, who do you want it to be?
The country that conquered when it could? Or the one that rebuilt when it didn’t have to?
Every alliance. Every trade route. Every economy.
Billions lifted out of poverty.
All of it traces back to one act of restraint that had never been done before.
And carries no guarantee of being repeated.
The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb.
It was what it didn’t do after.
Jay Clayton, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York: "We had a case in the Justice Department last week, the Southern Poverty Law Center... at bottom, the allegations are that this organization was creating hate in order to expand their mission of combating hate. If that’s going on—and it is—it’s going on in America, it’s going on through organizations like that. It’s also going on with foreign actors funding these types of organizations because they want us to fight with each other. So, everybody needs to take a step back and say, who is causing me to have these emotions? And are we are we creating an environment where those emotions are causing us to do things that are harmful to the American public?"
“It’s about time that the rest of the Pittsburgh sports media catches on”
Riverhounds MF Robbie Mertz elaborates more in a drop-the-mic answer that all Pittsburgh sports fans and media members should listen to regarding his initial social media response in addressing Pittsburgh media members who have failed to acknowledge the Riverhounds and especially recent accomplishments like winning the club’s @uslchampionship Title in 2025.

We’ve reached the point in the matrix where the government officials who are guilty of fraud are creating laws that will imprison the people investigating their crimes.
Incredible.
I’m not a gun person. I was raised among leftist gun haters.
So when I first heard about @JohnRLottJr’s book, “More Guns, Less Crime,” I was skeptical.
But he was right. Here he explains why government ignores many examples where guns SAVED people:
I would not normally post something like this but Mamdani is truly delusional if he thinks this will be good for NYC. Economic ignorance at its finest.
😂 Watch this clown Commie Mamdani strut around NYC at night like a socialist superhero.
‘When I ran for mayor, I said I was gonna tax the rich… Well today we’re taxing the rich. I’m thrilled to announce we’ve secured a pied-à-terre tax, the first in New York history!’
Bro really thinks slapping an annual fee on luxury penthouses owned by people who don’t live there full-time is some brilliant masterstroke.
He’s out here celebrating a tax on Ken Griffin’s $238 million penthouse while the city crumbles under crime, migrants, and failing schools.
This is peak leftist brain rot
Happy Tax Day. The top 1% pays 40% of all income taxes, the top 10% pays 72% and the top 25% pays 87% of all income taxes. Meanwhile the bottom 50% pays ZERO income taxes. For all of you actually paying taxes, do you think your tax dollars are being spent well?
