At the time of his retirement, you could make the argument that Ken Anderson was the best quarterback in the history of the AFC. His numbers were better than or close to his peers, many of whom would be enshrined in Canton.

Willie Anderson was as dominant of a Right Tackle as there’s ever been in the history of the National Football League. In his era, there was no one better.

It’s a shame that neither of them has been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I feel for them, their families, the franchise, and the fan base — which once again feels overlooked, cheated, and ignored.

It’s a sad day to be a #Bengals fan.
