Sorry for the late post. I normally make long posts summarizing my thoughts after events, but this time I had trouble finding the right words.
Of course we're disappointed with the result, but sometimes that's just the way things go. I can confidently say that this is the hardest I've worked going into WCS before. Going into this tournament I was as confident as ever, I had spent countless nights practicing my Japanese and preparing material for the team. But in a brutal format like this, you only get one chance, and on the day we simply just weren't the best.
That being said, if I had the opportunity to go back in time and change my decision, I would choose to be with REJECT every single time. The people and the fans I've met since I've been in Japan are worth more to me then any trophy could. Of course I would've loved to lift the trophy for them, but no matter what I'll always be grateful. I'm so grateful for my teammates and REJECT this year for taking a chance on me. Spending this year with them really gave me a second wind when it came to competing. We had a long journey, but it's through these experiences we've grown a lot as players and as people. When I had first left LG, it felt like I was leaving home for the first time. But after this year, it feels like I found a second home. I'm not sure where Unite eSports will end up in the future, but I hope I have the opportunity to meet up with everyone again.
Thank you to everyone who's supported me throughout all these years. I'm not sure what the future holds, but I have a feeling I'll be seeing everyone once again in Tokyo next year.
