@ErikLambert1 I read on ESPN they had 29 drops this year. How could that be? I counted 8 or 9 in the Rams game alone. They also say Monongai lead the team with 6. Makes no sense to me. Rome had to have had 12-15 at least. What’s the criteria for it to be an official drop?
@BrenenWadlow @davebfr Colston has 4 and Rome has 2 by my count. I’m sure there are a couple of others in there from the rest of the pass catchers. Killing us right now.
@TheJoeySwoll @davebfr @paa_gk Met Joey 12 years ago at muscle beach in Venice. Monster of a man. Great dude and super down to earth. Had no idea he was also a Bears fan. This is awesome, Bear Down! 🐻⬇️
@DhruvKoul The weather will 100% be a factor. The crowd is also going to be INSANE. You put those two variables together and that is legitimate home field advantage. If we start fast on O and get some early stops on D, we win this game.
@ErikLambert1 I totally forgot the Bears played, and beat the Rams just last year in Chicago. Stafford had 0 TDs and an Int. They’ve definitely gotten better this year, but our team is also night and day difference from a year ago. What are your thoughts on the matchup compared to last year?
@davebfr Love that this team has that F you attitude. Love it even more it’s coming from the HC and QB. This team is like a modern version of 85 as far as outspoken personalities and confidence. Haven’t seen anything like it since then in my opinion. 2018 was fun, but nothing like this.
@Mikito7@dabearsblog I no longer wear my Bears gear on game day. When I do, they lose. Every time. I tried to wear some for the 1st GB game this year and as soon as I took it all off they started their come back. We are doing our part, Gordon! 🤣
@dabearsblog You called it when you said it’s going to come down to who on the Bears wants to step up and be special. Caleb, Colston, the defense second half, etc etc. This team is unbelievable. Props to you, you hit the nail on the head!
@dabearsblog Jeff, who do we want for the divisional round? I’m thinking Rams in Bear weather leans our way, but we smoked Philly already so I’m kinda torn. Either way just stoked to be moving on!
@ErikLambert1@BowserAngela I’m aware haha. Was just saying that the Giants and Jets play in New Jersey but still have New York in their name, so hopefully that’s a good sign that the Bears don’t have to change theirs. But seeing so many people refer to them as being the Indiana Bears I just wasn’t sure
@ErikLambert1@BowserAngela Can they still stay the Chicago Bears? I see people mentioning the Indiana Bears, but is that an actual thing if this move happens? The Giants/Jets play in New Jersey and still have New York in their name. Would be super disappointing if they change the name.
@firstroundmock 7 drops accounting for close to 100 yards, 2 more passing TD’s and a 75% completion percentage. Not to mention back to back TD drives to win the game when it mattered most.
@ErikLambert1 If they hire McCarthy - thoughts on Thomas Brown staying on as OC and calling plays from the booth? He said in his press conference the offense would look a lot different if he comes back. Caleb gets to keep working with TB for continuity while MM fixes everything else. Win win?
@ErikLambert1 Let’s say Ben Johnson gets hired and the O-line is at least average... What are your expectations for the offense and for Caleb? What is a reasonable stat-line and win/loss prediction?
@ErikLambert1 Even if the Bears finish with a decent record and playoff appearance this year, do you think Eberflus is the guy that will keep them a contender for years to come? They’re doing better recently but I’m still so skeptical of him.
