@minnieskgz@alya_stfu@BeausCrossing Ppl aren’t samples they’ve got free will. You could get hit on literally anywhere it’s not smthing you can ban. Allosexual people also get hit on by ppl they don’t want. There’s nothing wrong with ppl you’re not attracted to hitting on you. It’s a silly request and a bad analogy
I think it’s unreasonable to expect queer spaces with no kissing or dating. For most people we can only date, kiss, flirt etc safely and openly in these spaces. We’re not obsessed with sex we live in a society where queer sexuality is suppressed and attacked. 1/2
@alya_stfu@Rengiyuu_yume@twstedtea just turn people down and move on? I get hit on by the club by ppl im not attracted to so i just turn the down and keep clubbing. I think asking for a club space with no flirting is quite silly
@alya_stfu@CTinMI921 Out of all the places London has a wide range of queer events. I’m not sure why you were criticising someone for being from nyc and saying we don’t have an active queer scene, yes we do. There’s plenty of non sex focused spaces like picnic, craft events, cafes, pub nights etc
@vamp_gf_ I’m referring to ppl I’ve met irl and certain tweets by asexual ppl who say very sex negative things which obv don’t represent the majority just an annoying minority who use very harmful language about sex and ppl who are sexually active
