7 Morning HABITS That Are Killing Your Health
How you start your day determines your health.
Most of us wake up and do things that slowly damage our bodies… every single morning.
👉Stop these HABITS TODAY, especially living in Nigeria.👇
1. Wake Up and Drink COLD Water.
Your body was warm all night. Cold water shocks your system, slows digestion, causes catarrh or bloat, and weakens your immunity.
✅ Drink WARM water first thing. It wakes up your organs, cleanses your gut, and boosts energy.
2. Wake up and rush out, NO BREAKFAST
You starve your body for 12+ hours… then starve more.
Your brain suffers, your blood sugar drops, your metabolism slows down, and gallstones form.
✅ Eat something. Even small bread, akara, fruit, and pap.
Never skip BREAKFAST.
3. Wake up and check PHONE immediately.
Blue light and bad news or stress spikes cortisol. Your body thinks it is in danger. You start the day anxious, stressed, and tired.
✅ First 30 mins: No phone. Drink water, stretch, and pray.
4. Wake up and make or take very hot TEA or COFFEE.
Too hot burns your throat and stomach lining, it causes ulcers and cancer risk over time.
Also: An Empty stomach and coffee can cause severe acid reflux.
✅ Let it cool. Add milk or food.
5. Brush Teeth AFTER breakfast
When you eat, acid forms in your mouth, and brushing scrubs acid deeper into your enamel. You destroy your teeth slowly.
✅ Brush BEFORE eating. Rinse your mouth after food.
6. Wake up and bath with very COLD water.
In Nigeria, body is warm. Cold bath shocks your blood vessels which causes high BP spike, headache, joint pain.
✅ Use Lukewarm or normal temperature water. Gentle on the body.
7. Hold URINE or Poop because you are "BUSY".
Your body is telling you to release waste. Holding waste causes toxins back into blood, infection, and kidney damage.
✅ Go immediately. It is the most important “FIRST THING” to do.
