@alex_gayer All of this seems about right. I did a roundtrip cross-country drive a couple of years ago. Stats attached. My total charging time is high because Iโd take advantage of the charging breaks to do work in between.
@soarescode@TesCalendar1 I am willing to bet any amount of money you cannot make it in 1 charge on any model Y. From anywhere that is more than 280 miles away...
@pokertrader829@TesCalendar1 No, because what Iโve been saying from the start is that in order for it to be possible, you have to go less than the speed limit, and I know those stretches have a 70+ limit. Iโve done it many times.
@pokertrader829@TesCalendar1 Again, itโs doable, just depends on a lot of factors. Hereโs a route consisting of a driving speed of 65 mph and efficiency of 290 Wh/m with no charge stops. Note the car also has a reserve of about 5 miles of range.
@pokertrader829@TesCalendar1 You must be bored if youโre lurking Twitter replying to 10-month old threads spreading FUD.
LA to Vegas on a single charge is possible, just not advisable. But it also depends on the weather, your driving habits, traffic, WHERE in LA youโre driving from, etc.
