I started watching Where The Mask Ends on Netflix. This chinese drama is so fricking good. Love love love the female lead Tian Xi Wei. I might have found my new favorite chinese actress. She plays dual roles and she plays them with aplomb.
i remember ppl asked for more screentime of sui yuanqing and qi min in POJ when all these dudes do is traumatize ppl with their evilness. rooted for them and shipped them with the female leads. but now that it’s a female villain, y’all can’t somehow stand her being evil? 🤷🏻♀️
jundai and weirao can be in the same scene looking exactly identical and yet tian xiwei managed to distinguish the two through their eyes alone. one pair of eyes is filled with malice and murderous intent, while the other is filled with fear for her life.
somebody get tian xiwei her awards and flowers NOW.
A U.S. congressman wants to change how we legally “own” video games.
Rep. Ritchie Torres has announced plans to introduce the Power To The Players Act, a bill that would direct the FTC to create rules protecting consumers who buy video games.
The proposal would give players three basic rights:
>The right to own the games they purchase, rather than simply receiving a revocable license
>The right to keep playing games after online servers are shut down, through an offline mode
>The right to transfer or resell games they own
Torres argues that if a company can take a game away simply by shutting down its servers, then the consumer didn’t really buy the game in the first place.
Torres also hopes the legislation could eventually establish a precedent for ownership rights across other parts of the digital economy:
“If you pay for it, you own it.”
i love it more when a ship serves "he fell FIRST and he fell HARDER" rather than "she fell first" cause its so fuckin good to see men being pathetic with their enormous yearning and agonizing longing for the love of one woman and one woman alone.
if your idea of empowering women requires muslim women to abandon choices they make out of faith, then you are not empowering women, you are simply replacing one form of control with another.true freedom means allowing women to make their own choices without being punished for them
people arguing whether hijabis deserved to breathe air and then here comes white people's orientalist fantasy movie with the actress in full hajj clothes you cannot make this up
