5 full days sober and the body has somewhat recovered. Went to the gym for the first time in 5 months yesterday and the avg HR was around 179bpm unsurprisingly but great to be back. Light session today and another day alcohol free incoming #Sober#RecoveryPosse#Fitness#Journey
nobody talks about how exhausting it is to live in that space between "things will get better" and "i can't handle this anymore." it's like your emotions are constantly swinging. leaving you both hopeful and defeated in the same day
Honesty time. Most recent relapse was a tough 3 days. I consumed 3 litres of Vodka in 3 days. Slept a lot. Couldnt look after myself or my dog properly. Enough is enough. This will be the last time these types of bottles will ever be in my house.
78 hours sober now.
Lets do it.

I accept I can never fucking drink again. Not one fucking sip, not one fucking drink not one fucking beer, period. For me there are negative consequences for every time I drink. Iβm 5 years clean from alcohol. One day at a time. My sobriety is my purpose and Iβm never going back
You accomplished the most difficult part - getting sober π
Losing jobs while sober is incredibly tough but it doesnβt mean nothing is improving.
It simply demonstrates your continued commitment to the harder path and to keep going my friend. Keep pushing forward and never look back!
@MindBodySoleUK Coming out of addiction and losing job after job despite being sober. It feels like it still isnt getting better and wondering at what stage luck might actually exist in my life
I keep getting in and out of work so quickly and with the amount of debts and trying to recover from addiction it's becoming increasingly difficult to see any sort of positives. How can we keep going and keep showing up? #Recovery#Work#Help
