I noticed with my fibromyalgia that I tend to have bad hand grip weakness. I was refilling my mug at work just now and the entire thing slipped out of my hand and the water spilled everywhere. I cleaned it up real good. Of course, my hands always appear fine during a physical exam. I looked it up and it's a common symptom of fibro. ๐ฅบ
So the drug dealer that sold my friend fentanyl laced heroin is in prison for 14 years. She overdosed and died five years ago today. I shared her picture in my last post. I'm staying clean and sober for her, too. ๐ค

One of my friends overdosed many years ago. It was of her own account, though. ๐ข I did everything I could do to help her. I actually got her phone one night (after I spied her putting in her PIN and mentally recorded that), got her mother's phone number and called her mom after she passed out. We got her into Rehab and she got better. For a while. She eventually died. It's so painful to think about. Overdoses are so painful for those of us who are left.
I'm so glad you take care of yourself emotionally. You are a star. ๐คฉ I hope this brings a bit of peace. But it will never replace your loving friend. โค๏ธ
Our family friend that has uterine cancer is in the hospital now...it seems that they're going to operate on her. I'm a little scared because they turned down her surgery last time because she is so frail. I'm praying super hard. ๐๐๐
When life gets hard and youโre not sure what to do, start finding things you enjoy.
The gym.
Music.
Fishing.
Riding a bike.
Talking with a friend.
Anything.
Healthy hobbies can keep your mind busy, help you stay focused, and stop you from spiraling.
One thing recovery has taught me is that finding new hobbies and making time for them can make a huge difference.
Whatโs something you enjoy doing?
