I am thoroughly impressed by CM Vijay’s gesture of taking three days time to respond to opposition queries. This may seem like a cop out, but it isn’t.

Debates , whether in TV studios or assembly, reward those who can think on their feet. Quick comebacks, sharp retorts and "mass" reactions grab attention and applause.

But governance isn’t a game of speed.

Real leadership demands deep thinking - the kind that looks at an issue from several angles, digs beneath the surface, and weighs consequences carefully.

Govt policies affect millions, over generations. Rushing to conclusions or prioritizing clever soundbites over substance can lead to poor decisions with lasting damage.

This is why taking time to respond is far better instead of saying something for the sake of reacting.

Stalin has been in politics for decades, but he never truly connected with people the way MGR or Thalapathy Vijay did.

​All those scripted events and photo-ops meant nothing when he lost the election - it proves the support was never organic. A crowd should first emotionally connect with you, only then they'll show up for you, not because they were paid to be brought there.

​Stalin only ever won elections when facing a weaker opponent. His ultimate arrogance was refusing to utter Vijay's name before the 2026 polls, thinking he was avoiding him. Now, he won't sleep a single peaceful night without remembering CM Vijay!

This is exactly why I repeatedly say the DMK ecosystem has become so deeply rotten.

Today, DMK-supporting abusive IDs brought out and circulated a video of a woman in a modern short dress, claiming that she resembles a TVK woman politician, and spent the entire day trolling, mocking and abusing her over the video.

That TVK woman politician has chosen a public political life, Criticism of her political views is fair, but dragging a woman’s appearance, clothing and dignity with a fake video into political attacks is nothing but misogyny.

The so-called “முற்போக்கு” dmk gang seems to remember women’s freedom and dignity only when it suits their politics.

From Udhayanidhi Stalin to abusive online DMK-supporting IDs, it often feels like they invest far more energy in abusing and humiliating women than in debating their political ideas.

When abuse becomes the language of political communication, what kind of message does that send to society?

Thank God, @CMOTamilnadu Anna came into politics and gave Tamil Nadu women a stronger political alternative.

Imagine if the DMK were still in power, what would the situation be for women like us, when even their online ecosystem normalises abusing and humiliating women?

It would be a truly pathetic state for women in Tamil Nadu.
