@WesisaGeek Totally agree, the alcoholic in me is like a sleeping beast, lying dormant, waiting on me picking up a drink so it can run riot again.
I chose not to drink today but I will always be an alcoholic

If I have 1 drink I will drink like an alcoholic, nothing will change that fact.
The alcoholic will always be in me, today I don't drink, I'm just an alcoholic who doesn't drink.

@thesoberheathen I get it, only you can define if you are alcoholic, nobody else can and there is a stigma around the word, some people don't like the word, that's fine, your life, your recovery, you get to define what you are.
