I'm a pharmacist๐, and I use this page to make medicines and health education easier to understand.
Here, I talk about:
๐ Medication safety
๐ Drug interactions
๐ Antibiotic use and antimicrobial resistance
๐ Patient education
๐ Common medication mistakes patients make
If you want to understand your medicines better, you are in the right place.โค๏ธ
๐จ When your period feels like it has overstayed its welcome
Periods can vary, but heavy bleeding lasting up to 8 days deserves attention, especially if itโs soaking pads frequently, causing dizziness, weakness, severe pain, or affecting daily life.
Donโt just โmanage itโ at home, please get assessed.

@sobiobo Common medication errors we usually see are misinterpreting written dosages, mixing up look alike/sound alike drug packaging, and inappropriately crushing extended release tablets.
A lady came to the hospital with her mother. After picking up her mother's medication from the pharmacy, she was told how to use it.
she came back to the pharmacy complaining that the mother had taken 2 tablets instead of 1, even though the instruction was clearly written on the medication envelop.
What's one medication error you see people make repeatedly?
5 medication safety tips I wish every patient knew before leaving the pharmacy:
๐ How to take your medicines.
๐ What to avoid while taking them.
๐ How to store your medicines.
๐ What side effects to expect.
๐What to do if you miss a dose.

@kainejohnson18 Personal hygiene is very important. Many women develop candida intertrigo and end up spending money on medications, for something that often could be prevented.
