Za sprawą nowego sezonu wróciłem do #Battlefield6.
Sezon dowiózł świetną mapę, gra się znakomicie, ale dziś nie o tym, a o…Ray Tracingu😜

Otóż przypomniałem sobie, że stary Battlefield V z 2018r był pierwszą gra z RT. Tytuł mocno promował tę technologię, połowa kampanii reklamowej to był RT.

Natomiast Battlefield 6 nie ma RT w ogóle😅 - cóż za paradoks.
Pomimo braku śledzenia promieni najnowszy Battlefield wygląda genialnie, świetnie działa i zupełnie nie czuję potrzeby by ta technologia kiedykolwiek tej grze była potrzebna.

Powiem więcej - nadal uważam RT za technologię, która jest graczom zbędna, twórcy głównie zyskują na RT podczas developingu, a gry, w których śledzenie promieni robi różnicę można wymienić na palcach jednej ręki, ale nawet wtedy koszt sprzętowy/wydajnościowy jest zbyt duży.

Stop improving graphics!

This is a game from 2016. It looks absolutely beautiful and runs very well. There is zero reason to constantly improve graphics and hinder performance except to sell new graphics cards. It's all business
