@MattP1Tommy Do you feel the stewards keep Haas on a shorter leash for penalties than other teams as a carry over from the Grosjean-Magnussen-Steiner days? It feels like they’re much more likely to get penalties for incidents than other teams (or even mechanical flags that no one else gets).

@DJNYCNY @JFreshHockey I think it’s a “betting on himself,” style deal. A prove it deal. He had a great second half of the season in LA after a few rough years, hanging to recreate that for a full season next year to be able to get a higher AAV then he could right now.
