As you all consider what you will be wearing during ~spooky~ season, make sure to remember not to use someone else's culture as your costume!
Halloween is a fun time of year, but it's even better when we respect others and their cultures!🎃✨🎇

Reminder that tomorrow is the last day anyone can enter into our Black History Month contest. The award is a $50 Dunkin Donuts gift card!

[Fred Guttenberg @fred_guttenberg]

Exactly one year ago, to the minute at around 7am, I sent two kids to school. Only my son Jesse came home. Jaime was murdered in school. I am forever haunted by my memory of that morning, rushing my kids out the door rather than getting one last minute. Did I say I love you?

[Social Action Club @socialactionAAS]

Today’s #BlackHistoryMonth quote reminds us that black history extends beyond slavery and the Civil Rights Movement. Remember the rich past of our world’s black mathematicians, writers, leaders, inventors, and changemakers.

[Social Action Club @socialactionAAS]

In honor of Black History Month, we’ll be tweeting different inspirational quotes by black leaders. What better way to start than with Beyoncé?

[Charger Activities @AASStuActivity]

Go check out @socialactionAAS tomorrow after school!! Get involved, you won't regret it!

[Social Action Club @socialactionAAS]

Make sure to come to the SAC meeting tomorrow in room 605. We’ll be planning World Hijab Day! Bring a friend & bring ideas.

Love is still the most powerful force on the planet.

Leaders like Jonny Boucher, a Chicago native who, after losing too many friends and family to suicide, started a coffee shop to offer emotional support and guidance to those who might be in need of a little more than a strong cup of coffee to get through their day.
