Tomorrow night's game against @OfficialOAFC has been postponed following a pitch inspection due to a waterlogged pitch.
Firstly we sincerely apologise to both sets of fans 🙏
We are working in consultation with Oldham Athletic, the Police and Third Parties to find other workable solutions to get this fixture played asap including tomorrow night at an alternative venue.
There will be a further update later today.

Today's postponed Vanarama National League fixture against @YorkCityFC will now be played tomorrow night (Tuesday 2nd April 7:45pm).
Following discussions with the grounds team & the weather also showing signs of improvement tomorrow we want the game played as quickly as possible.
We share the frustrations the postponements this season have caused and we can assure you we are doing everything in our power to get both this and the other fixtures played at the earliest opportunity given the time of the season.

It’s well-documented that the foundational parts under the pitch aren’t optimal.. so no matter how good the playing surface is, drainage is an issue. Long-term everyone knows what needs to happen… just needs the 💰 and time to solve
Despite inevitable complaints against the club, another postponement does them no favours, or the council. At least it was called before most York fans have set off. It’s a £1m+ problem to solve and spare a thought for Ozy who’s probably been at the ground since 7am
