Okay bro. Whatever you say.
If you believe your sanctification is temporal, progressive and stainable, I can’t convince you otherwise.
Mine is eternal, perfected and untouchable:
Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ ONCE FOR ALL.
God bless
Because you’ve been transformed into the nature of God.
Confession doesn’t mean reporting yourself.
The Greek word is “homologeo” which means to agree or assent to something that’s said by someone.
To confess Jesus as your Lord and Saviour is to agree that whatever happened to him happened to you.
It means to join Him in his death, burial and resurrection into eternal perfection.
As such, repentance from sin, is an agreement that, you’ve now entered into eternal perfection with Jesus. It means we are no longer proud of iniquity and show remorse.
Confession in the Bible has never meant the 21st century meaning: to report yourself. It’s just us reading our current language and grammar into a text written in a different time, and in a different language

If you’re diseased, good for you.
As for me, I’m an embodiment of God’s perfection
For in Christ lives all the fullness of God in a human body. - Colossians 2:9
So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority. - Colossians 2:10
@EliabuDanford lol. Are you in my life to confirm I’m not walking like it?
Nevertheless, God does not approve of us because of good works.
We manifest good works because God approves of us.
You’re not the one I am living for. Focus on your own walk.
“yet some of you want to continue sinning as though he didn't do anything about it.”- @EliabuDanford
And some people even slander us by claiming that we say, "The more we sin, the better it is!" Those who say such things deserve to be condemned. - Romans 3:8
Jesus, God tolerated sins when we were yet unable to something about it. He provided the antidote of sin through his cross, do you still want him to continue tolerating a diseased son, when he has already given them medicine to cure the disease, you guys like being filthy??
Sin contradicts God's nature of holiness, he has provided a eternal solution to preserve relationship with him, yet some of you want to continue sinning as though he didn't do anything about it.
1 Peter 2:11-12
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
I’m just sharing with you what the text says. If you cannot take God’s word at face value, there’s nothing more I can do.🫠
If you’re sure you will fall away from God’s hands, be my guest. As for me, this is what God’s word says about me
He will keep you strong to the end so that you will be free from all blame on the day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. - 1 Corinthians 1:8
Now may the God of peace make you holy in every way, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless until our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. - 1 Thessalonians 5:23
God will make this happen, for he who calls you is faithful. - 1 Thessalonians 5:24
Now all glory to God, who is able to keep you from falling away and will bring you with great joy into his glorious presence without a single fault. - Jude 1:24
I choose to trust God to keep me till the last day. How about you?
“Sanctification is not righteousness,” - @EliabuDanford
1 Corinthians 1:30 But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom,
and righteousness, and (kai: even so) sanctification, and (kai:even so) redemption
Jesus is our sanctification, our righteousness and our redemption. Attempting to create any other metric, is what it means to DEPART FROM THE LIVING GOD.
This is the exact doctrine Hebrews warns against: the ones that will fall away
Sanctification is not a personality, that's a possessive characterization of what Jesus did. If you say Jesus is sanctification you mean sanctification is a totality of nature of personality of Jesus which is factually wrong. Sanctification is not love. Jesus is love. Sanctification is not righteousness, Jesus is righteousness. Sanctification is not wisdom, Jesus is our wisdom.
Jesus is many[attributes] in one, one thing can not total him. Sanctification is his work infused with our nature in our new birth.
I’m not filthy. I am the righteous and holy in Christ
throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. - Ephesians 4:22
Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. - Ephesians 4:23
Put on your new nature, created to be like God-- truly righteous and holy. - Ephesians 4:24

God does not “tolerate” diseased sons. He cannot have a diseased person as a son. That’s an insult to God.
He executes Judgement on disease.
Jesus was the perfect son that God loves.
I was the diseased son that He did not want to execute judgement on.
So Jesus took the judgement. I took the perfection.
Now, in Christ I am a perfect son that He loves.
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5:21

I admit this. 🙂↔️🙂↔️🙂↔️
As a Nigerian Chelsea fan, post 2009, my Messi hate was cemented 🤣🤣🤣
Preaches to me about the infallibility of my election though:
Even though the devil is mad at how much God has lavished on me, and is hate watching my Christian walk from start to finish, there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING he can do to stop me.
If you doubt your eternal security in Christ Jesus, look at Messi and look at us, his haters: we are powerless to stop his ascent😭😭😭
“Meaning, through the enablement of Christ, we can fulfill the righteous demands of the law. “
This is wrong. There’s only one person that could ever fulfill the law- Jesus.
That’s why He came to do it for us. After accomplishing it, He passed on the title of Law Accomplishers to us, and took on the title of Law Breakers on Himself.
When He looked at Jesus on the cross, He saw a serial law breaker.
When He looks at us now, He sees serial law accomplishers.
However, if the title of Law Accomplisher that Jesus gave to you is not enough, and you have a point to prove, we can look at the standard.
“For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws.” - James 2:10
So, no matter how well you perfect your law keeping, you’re as good as the one that broke everything. This teaching @SpiricocoNg is peddling is programmed to keep you forever in God’s black books. These people that try to do what Jesus has done for us, are the ones that fall away, because they can never be approved of God.
Thirdly, the law was given to the Jews. It was a placeholder arrangement, pending the coming of the Law Fulfiller: Jesus. If you’re not Israeli, and a practicing Jew, Moses’ writings do not concern you.
For Moses writes that the law's way of making a person right with God requires obedience to all of its commands. - Romans 10:5
For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. - Romans 10:4
#TheGospelPrevails
“So what does the law still do now? It is still useful. Very.”- @SpiricocoNg
Obviously, the law applies to those to whom it was given, for its purpose is to keep people from having excuses, and to show that the entire world is guilty before God. - Romans 3:19
BUT NOW God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago. - Romans 3:21
The Law is no longer useful to you. You’re now a full son of God- a perfect replica of Jesus.
Now you are no longer a slave but God's own child. And since you are his child, God has made you his heir. - Galatians 4:7
Not necessarily. This is also an English translation problem.
Remain and Abide are the same word used interchangeably depending on the Bible translation. The Greek word is meno
Apart from the meanings : to stay, to dwell in, to remain in a place, it also means
ain reference to state or condition
1to remain as one, not to become another or different
The gospel teaches that you died on the cross, and you resurrected IN and AS Christ, indistinguishable.
To abide therefore means to accept that this your new identity is the ONLY source of your salvation.
If you start adding any other conditions to your salvation, outside of God’s acceptance of Jesus, and your identity as Jesus (Gal 2:20, Col 3:3) you’re no longer “remaining”
You see even in our congregations, there are people that don’t trust in Jesus’ sacrifice alone. They’ve heard the message, but somehow try to perfect their salvation on their own.
These ones will fall away, even if they seemed part of us from the beginning
These people left our churches, but they never really belonged with us; otherwise they would have stayed with us. When they left, it proved that they did not belong with us. - 1 John 2:19
But you are not like that, for the Holy One has given you his Spirit, and all of you know the truth. - 1 John 2:20
Hope that helps❤️❤️❤️
Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. - John 15:6
This Jesus telling you that if you do not trust in Him as the only source of your salvation, you’d fall away.
If you’re not raised up by Him, or pruned by Him, you’re gone
