"People only change if they want to change. You cannot force someone to respect you. You cannot force someone to admit they were wrong or apologize. Only they have the power to shift their perspective. And sometimes, it’s just not going to happen." https://t.co/9FkAfYWxok
Spent the day playing 🤸🏻♂️🤸🏻♀️ with colleagues at the #magps Spring 🌷🌞🌹🌱🌻 conference! Grateful to connect in very deep ways💓; I’ve learned so much about improv 🤹🏻♀️ in therapy and life!!! 🙂
“Fail better” means you begin to have the ability to hold what I call “the rawness of vulnerability” in your heart, and see it as your connection with other human beings and as a part of your humanness.“ https://t.co/EDcwcXGwN9
We can't 'fix' ourselves into being good enough. We need to learn to accept ourselves just as we are, even if we have room to grow. We don't need to be like anyone else or have it all together. We're all imperfect, and that's okay. It's called being human.
A patient asked me today if I was disappointed in her. I said, "How can I be disappointed in you when you were just being yourself." Maybe we should all get to know ourselves a little better and be okay with who we are.
