If this manager were available, the Howe Out folks would be dying to bring him in…
- Spent 4 1/2 years at last club
- Qualified for the CL twice - 1st time in 20 years
- First ever knockout stages of CL for club
- Two cup finals - First in 25 years
- Ended 56-year trophy drought
- 4th highest in league points since taking over
- Club went numerous windows without improving the team
- 49% win percentage
- Finished 11th, 4th (highest in 20 years), 7th, and 5th
- Took over club in relegation place and helped them become the first club in history to avoid relegation after not winning any of their first 14 games (previous manager’s run)
- Finished 14th and was sacked
But this is Eddie Howe’s time at Newcastle, so they desperately want him sacked.

Eddie Howe at #nufc
- Saved from relegation
- Two CL campaigns
- PL joint best defence in 22/23
- 85 PL goals in 23/24
- Two cup finals and one cup win
- Coached career best form for dozens of players
Now we’re giving up on him because of one poor season?
Not for me.
In the space of 4 years since the takeover the club have seen 2 Top 5 finishes, 2 Cup Finals, 1 Cup Win, 2 Champions League campaigns, 1st ever time in the Champions League Knockout stages. Beating PSG, Benfica, Bilbao & Outplaying Barcelona at St James’ Park.
The exit last night hurts, for Fans, Players, coaches & the owners. Newcastle United have come a long way in a short space of time. Let’s look to the future!

Nick Pope this season for Newcastle United
- Cost us 1 point against Arsenal with mistakes in the 95th minute ❌
- Cost us potentially 3 points at West Ham conceding a weak shot at the near post ❌
- Cost us potentially 3 points at Brentford missing a punch from the corner ❌
- Cost us potentially 3 points at Marseille rushing 35 year old Aubameyang at the halfway line ❌
- Cost us at Manchester City not being strong enough to save the telegraphed power shot ❌
- Goal meant nothing but Qarabag FK shot somehow goes in ❌
- Cost us potentially 3 points against Everton spilling an easy shot back into the danger zone ❌
Not good enough

I’m absolutely devastated that my hero Grandad passed away peacefully yesterday surrounded by his beloved family.
All those that new Fred Trainer will remember him for being such an amazing man, true gentleman & a hero to many others spending over 30 years with @Tyne_Wear_FRS 💔
Many have noticed a change in the order of songs pre-match at St James’ Park in the last couple of weeks.
The club have told us the decision to swap Local Hero with the Blaydon Races before kick-off was done primarily at the request of the players and coaching staff, who want to hear the fans singing right at kick-off, which is not possible with Local Hero but is with The Blaydon Races!
So whilst honouring the tradition of those two songs, the club have swapped them round so that Local Hero plays before the team emerge and The Blaydon Races before kick-off.
It’s up to us to live up to that request and belt out the Blaydon Races and also carry it into the game.
Massive game tomorrow night. Bring your scarf, get it twirling, get behind the lads. Howay Newcastle!
@NUFC Lest we forget, @NUFC it happens every remembrance game why do we not have the 1 minute silence first then have the last post last, would this not be more respectful to our great heroes?
