This happened in this match they all crying about. But Bcus it’s foul for Argentina and referee or far did not call it, this does not fit in the narrative. 😂😂
@Mdband22 Shut the fuck up you moron. Americans have started using everything for politics. The whole world was mad when Balogun’s red card was suspended. Nobody likes “rules for thee but not for me”
By the rules of VAR the correct decision was made on the Egypt goal that was disallowed.
The offensive play starts at the spot of the turnover. The turnover happened because of a foul. It doesn't matter if its at the other end of the field as long as the offensive play is not interrupted, which it wasn't. Hence, no goal.
Good VAR here.
@MasonYKB Americans suck at every sport the rest of the world takes somewhat seriously. Proof is baseball and hockey. Just one gold medal in alsmot 50 years despite being home to the best league. Also failed to win gold in Olympics despite having MLB. It’s embarrassing.
“World Cup is rigged for Lionel Messi” because it’s the referee and the FIFA president that carried the ball and put it in the net innit.
When Egypt was up by 2 goals, nobody mentioned rigging. As soon as Messi assisted and scored, we started seeing thesis on the TL.
@SpencerHakimian Btw fuck trump. I’m happy to let Democrats have this country run over by illegals than to let it be run by ignorant fools like your lot.
@HoodiWaymo Yet far more people watched a round of 16 World Cup game in soccer than they did the nba finals or World Series. 45 million people. It’s the most watched sporting event in US history if you don’t count super bowls.
@HarleyMonster@McclaneJohn3 Bitch you threatened other countries to vote for you. NFL owners literally had to pay to bring natural grass and get rid of their artificial turf.
This is peak American arrogance.
The greatest footballers in history weren’t the greatest athletes in their own countries.
They became legends because they spent 15-20 years mastering the most technically demanding team sport in the world.
Thinking someone becomes better than them in six months because they can jump higher is exactly why Americans still don’t understand football.
Messi wasn’t scouted by Barca. He was scouted by Newell’s old boys at 6 years of age from his local club Grabdoli where he started playing when he was just 4. His parents were forced to move to Spain because his local club couldn’t pay for his treatment and wouldn’t let him move to a bigger club in Buenos Aires.
@HedgeDirty Like at 5 or 6 years of age he has to start playing in a locks club or academy. He has to turn pro by 16 to be a star. Thats what both Messi and Ronaldo did.
