One of the reasons I would be willing to give Ten Hag another season is because the football we are currently playing is not the long-term plan.

At home vs Chelsea and Villa (after going 2-0 down), we saw good football with the press working. In the first half against Wolves (a) and in the cup game vs Palace, we also played good football, and you could see what Ten Hag was trying to do.

It is just a shame that he did not stick with that and has adapted due to injuries.

I wanted Ten Hag at #MUFC because he played great football at Ajax. Lots of people even wanted Rangnick because he played exciting football. They came to United and had to abandon the way they wanted to play.

I see people wanting Nagelsmann, De Zerbi, Amorim, and I understand why as they play good football. But as we have seen with previous coaches, when they get to United they change it massively due to a lack of personnel.

Tactically, Ten Hag has been poor this season, and structural issues like the rest defence he has not fixed, and we can't completely blame that on the players.

But when you look at the Man Utd squad, we have very few technical players capable of playing the football we want to see, made even worse by the injuries to Shaw/Martinez.

I would like to see what ETH can do with a good transfer window and a better crop of players at hand. Mainoo, Hojlund, Garnacho, Dalot have all developed well under Erik, and I think he can bring out the best in players if they suit his approach.
