I completed two very full weeks of work and travel. It was a blessing to be with those offering themselves for the episcopacy and ordination in the UMC. It was a delight to spend so much time with friends. I needed connection and laughter. Now I’m ready for time with my family.
Three unsung heroes of the cycle- @KeenaRenee03 Democratic Chair of House redistricting.
@ssnich & @AndyHatem who spent MONTHS pouring over data and drawing maps.
The work the 3 of them did in 2021 gave us the the chance to win last night (and beyond!)

Today I told Abram I loved him as he walked to the bus. He responded “cool!” I asked “why cool?” he said I knew he loved me even if he didn’t say it. I thought it was a memory I’d carry with me if anything were to happen. Because it keeps happening in our schools.Praying for StL.

Got to substitute teach Prophets and Wisdom Literature for COS @spst1958, and it was fun to teach a Bible course again (even if just for the fall course).

It’s my dad’s birthday. I wish I could wake him just a few more questions or take one more family vacation or enjoy his bbq chicken again.
But most of all, I wish our boys knew what a fabulous grandpa he was. I especially miss him for them.
