@spaulin13 as someone who is curious about crotchet but a little too intimidated to approach it myself, i'm super excited to read your blog posts! maybe it'll start to seem more understandable
do you think they forget they’re being watched, like people say they do on other hyper-vigilant isolation reality shows, like love island? or do you feel like they’re constantly aware? the cameras seem pretty big #315thecircle

hihi!! i'm a costa rican-venezuelan who loves formula one, cooking for her friends + family (like the costa rican tortilla aliñada pictured here!), and movies and theatre--especially when they amplify latine voices #ccom315#315photointro
we can find examples of all four of boyd's affordances in the technology from Nosedive! replicability and scalability are the two that stand out the most to me—there isn't a single person who's not in the system, and people use other's posts to inspire/build their own #315WeekOne
i think scalability is the most imporant of Boyd's affordances. unlike analog communication technologies, digital media allows all sorts of entities to communicate with *millions* of people at once. ideas can travel the world faster than ever before! it's powerful! #315WeekOne
for me, #WritingTheInternet means injecting your voice into online discourse through written word. i do it every time i tweet or write a movie review on letterboxd, both of which i've been doing a lot more often since the pandemic began #ccom315
