@maggieofthetown Well you can laze in the meadows of Hampstead Heath (& the rest of UK) like many an unfazed celeb safer in the knowledge that we have way fewer ticks. And those that are here very rarely carry any disease.
“We reassert the Double Empathy Problem as a sociological account of autistic-non-autistic (and more broadly, between individuals with differing dispositions) interaction, rather than a social-cognitive theory of #autism”. 👏🔥🎤
@maggieofthetown I understand the car dependency issue what I don’t understand is why multi level car parks aren’t being utilised. And why not move in retail or other leisure facilities into the surrounding areas instead of housing.
@hiddenreylo I had this at my Uni dept. where they had actual individual rooms with their owns sinks not just separated by those dividers. And everyone loved it, you had real privacy and gender parity when it rarely came to queuing. People would come to our dept. to use the loos.
@patrocluos Absolutely and low lit, colour drained, historically accurate tableau shots just could not portray the more important emotional authenticity or felt experience of Lestat. Verisimilitude would’ve killed most avenues for expressing that.

Today marks ten years since Jo was killed.
We remember Jo as a mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend, campaigner and public servant. We remember her courage, her compassion, and her belief that we have more in common than that which divides us.

This is absolutely insane.
The suffragettes used far more extreme tactics than Palestine Action.
They planted bombs, burned down private homes and smashed up art galleries.
They killed five people!
Her outrageous judgement is based on absurd historical ignorance.
These aren't protests. They're racist riots. And it's time for the government to take them seriously.
The PM should be convening COBRA and setting out a real plan to end this horrific violence and bring communities together.
Now is a time for real leadership.
The Fire Brigades Union has made a statement on the proposed EHRC Code of Practice on Services.
Our message is clear. Equality matters, solidarity is essential, and we will continue to fight for both.
I'm reluctantly posting on X again because the world needs to read this.
My daughter Zoe Rogers gave her own closing speech at the Filton trial, as did 4 other defendants, while their barristers looked on.

@janedazey I wont say it’s right, it’s definitely not. But I have personally seen and know others who have seen the most senior Doctors be verbally abusive, shout or even scream. Less so on actual wards though. It’s about the work culture where they were once seen as untouchable.
@KristinChirico I agree with you. I just couldn’t personally tell what you meant in this instance, which of all the multiple layers of bad (could’nt think of a better word) behaviour your attribution of abusive pertained to.
