I have a simple manifesto.
Many vtubers have the potential to vtube as a career, should they wish. If there's a vtuber you adore, consider what you can do to enable this.
Please watch them, and if you can, sub and support.
Nothing lasts forever, but you can help it last longer.
@ArchLuminous@ojvhteuhyhes Masakhan is one of this Brit's staples, to be fair, and machboos (kabsa) is a personal favourite when if I don't eat it as regular.
There again, op's point that one person's diet doesn't speak for millions makes a pretty sound rebuttal against me...!
@NoJusticeMTG@keir_92 I mean, I say it that way and I'm a shop jockey from North Wales? My husband frequently calls me wanky, though, so it could just be a subliminal pretension
(if this reply appears multiple times please excuse me; Twitter's being weird)
@catladytopia@keir_92 I guess I kind of see it for linguine or spaghetti. They're made from similar things, in a similar way, and a similar shape.
Penne or conchiglie, that would be absurd.
@richmondie@OttokarHochman Fun example you may like (and/or know): the familiar 'diverse' (meaning, varied types of a thing) vs. the nigh-obsolete but distinct 'divers' (meaning an unspecified number or quantity of a thing).
Diverse meats are many types of meat, while divers meat just means a few pieces.
@Justabackup12@Shattubatu Ah, fair enough... I was hoping for an official statement, or some professional name; if I'm not citing a source like that, people might just wave it off as personal taste.
Thank you very much anyway. I do believe you!
@Justabackup12@Shattubatu It's not that I don't believe you, but that's still a really surprising thing to learn. It's certainly plausible enough.
I've done a little searching, but so far not found a source. Do you happen to have one, or remember where you heard this?
@_CannibaLia @skycomet1 Some people with ADHD apparently do this unintentionally in the crossover of romance and hyperfocus: an earnest wave of affection, then sudden loss of interest. No intent to be cruel, just the end of that hyperfocus.
I was paranoid I'd do this... but it's thankfully not common.
@slhamlet@adamconover If they were able to consistently put effort into projects, they wouldn't need to resort to AI in the first place; and many who were able become reliant and lose that capacity
@Erik_Haile@_shiopan Curious! That was the only example of us (Brits) regularly getting things provably wrong of which I could think; if you've got actual examples in mind, I'd love to hear them
@Razer@OoCPokemon I really love my Razer Naga. Had them from the Chroma to the Trinity.
Won't be getting any more, though. AI slop from a billion dollar company just screams contempt for artists and users alike.
@Sadam17225375@IRanMediaco We hear you.
We look forward to it.
Our government hasn't respected our overall wishes in a long time. Unfortunately, we are as cowardly as America's citizenry, coddled and unlikely to do anything; hateful, but even more fearful of reprisal.
I won't insult you by apologising.
@fieldtoaddname@mxmsworld Honestly, I don't think it's likely either; I just find it plausible enough I get why someone else might be worried about taking the metro, you know?
@fieldtoaddname@mxmsworld You know this, I know this, but a lot of people don't know this; and agents of a certain settler colony might take advantage of this ignorance, staging a false flag event to turn public opinion
