I don't understand why it's incumbent on me, a citizen of the United States, to not call the US Supreme Court partisan?
It's incumbent upon the US Supreme Court to prove to the people that they are not partisan every single day, and they have FAILED that test.
Some North Carolina Republicans are trying to steal an election for the state’s Supreme Court (by changing the rules AFTER they lost) and disenfranchising thousands of voters. Raise your voice on this latest example of partisan cheating—you can influence the outcome. https://t.co/ZOpdnwxxNc

59 years later, the Voting Rights Act remains the most effective law in the country to protect the right to vote. Today, in honor of those who sacrificed themselves for that sacred right, we must do everything in our power to protect and strengthen it—including electing leaders who support the right to vote rather than suppress it.
59 years ago today, the #VotingRightsAct of 1965 was signed, protecting the right to vote. This year, the enforcement of Section 2 of the VRA led to more representative maps in Alabama, Louisiana, & Georgia—underscoring the need to restore the VRA in full AND pass the #JLVRAA.👇
We're teaming up w/ Former Attorney General @EricHolder and @DemRedistrict to share how you can maximize your impact in the time we have left before Election Day. The stakes in the states have never been higher—and we need everyone in this fight. RVSP!⬇️ https://t.co/RxVNnqdq4y
Today marks the one-year anniversary of SCOTUS' decision in Allen v. Milligan.
We are proud to have supported the Alabama voters who sought (and secured) a new, fair, congressional map with additional Black opportunity districts.

The Allen v. Milligan decision brought fairer electoral maps to states that for too long had denied communities of color a fair say in their democratic process.
While we still have a long way to go in achieving fair representation—this decision was a significant step forward.
🧵 Today marks the 1 yr anniversary of the decision in #AllenvMilligan, which reinforced Section 2 of the #VotingRightsAct.
As a result—Alabama, Louisiana, and Georgia have more representative maps with additional Black opportunity districts going into the 2024 election.⬇️
