I executive produced my first documentary 🥹🎬

See Us, Hear Us was created by the lovely girls of @MilkHoneyBees in response to our research report which examined the ways Black girls navigate girlhood, specifically in South London, from adultification to self expression & joy.

SWEET HEAT🍭🔥 out today in 🇺🇸! Yearning, tension, growth, MESS, spice, wedding szn, a chaotic trip that makes it out the groupchat, the question of spinning the block, friendship drama and self evolution! Let's go! Link in bio! (If you're in the UK, it's already out!)

We’re also taking away valuable learnings: about how to make the festival even more fluid, accessible, and joyful next time. Growth is part of the journey and we’re committed to making each year bigger, brighter, and better for everyone ✨

Standing in a room filled with stories, ideas, and community reminded us why we do this. It was a proud and powerful moment to see the vision of this year’s festival come to fruition!

[Free Books Campaign @BooksCampaign]

To every single attendee, volunteer, panelist, author, workshop facilitator, and brand sponsor who poured their time, energy, and love into making this year’s festival happen: thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💚
