"ai will replace artists" "art isnt a real job anyway" then why so many people want to be an artist and faking their account to be an art account instead of just admitting they use ai
@SamuelDeats@PatrickStannard He knows better. He didn’t expect everyone to be against it. He spoke to some of my friends before the announcement and it just sounds like he was doing damage control before the bomb set off. He wanted supporters to say “actually, guys it’s deeper than you think.”
Being Mexican is inherently rebellious. Our culture and history has been defined by fight after fight to preserve identity and get rid of systemic erasure. Being Mexican is to challenge the status quo.

@AOC Democrats bring a pencil to a gunfight. And then throw their hands in their air when shit doesn’t change.
You work for this government. You still work for him. Your hands are just as bloodied. Stop tweeting and DO SOMETHING.
When we developed the voice for Tezcatlipoca on Onyx Equinox, we looked a lot at his first appearance on screen: he had these wispy smoke trails emanating from his nostrils. Even though he didn't carry that detail through all of his different forms, it affected how the performance would sort of waft effortlessly from line to line, giving him a mocking and "above it all" tone.
I tried to give a smirk to a lot of his lines, especially when he was talking down to, or playing with a character's life. His entitlement led to some pretty fun moments to perform, especially when I got opportunities to have his smugness challenged. I hope I did him justice.
Working on Onyx Equinox was a dream, and @sofiaealexander had such a beautiful and clear vision for it. It's a shame we didn't get more of this frankly groundbreaking show.
